Kari and Matt

This is the "blizzard" couple from this winter, but unfortunately we had no snow yesterday. I have to admit, I would love to get Matt snow blowing in a tux. I really enjoyed shooting at St. Bernard's again, and the light in the church is perfect. We chilled over at Green Isle park for a while, and then headed over to my old stomping grounds, the Swan Club. They actually let Matt bring in his own home brew. It was an awesome party.

Nice detail.

Grandma and Grandpa still holding hands.

Kari's flowers were gorgeous.

Love this slightly moody photo.

Kari and her dad sharing a special moment.

The mother and son dance was hilarious. You will see quite a bit of these two in the slideshow. Way too funny!

Chicken dance!

I stepped outside to see the most gorgeous sunset so I was glad they agreed to take a walk outside. So beautiful.

Ryan and Kirstin

What a great day. Blue skies, cool breeze, and a super sweet couple...all the makings for a great wedding. We started at GB Community Church in their super cool wedding chapel. We did a few stops for some awesome shots, and ended up at the Stadium View for a rocking reception.

Dress shot.

Kirstin looking gorgeous in some window light.

The sweet couple themselves.

Rings sparkling in the sun.

Some fun in the sun.

This is a great moment captured of Kirstin. Very funny!

Ryan is in a Christian band, Runway 36. The gang was having some fun playing on their inflatable instruments. Very funny times. You will see a lot more of this in the slideshow.

Thank you both for letting us be part of your special day! Enjoy the show.

Amanda and Philip

Kelly is posting tonight. We had back to back weddings this weekend, and you couldn't have asked for two more beautiful days. We had a great time on Saturday with Philip and Amanda out at Heritage Hill and then the Swan Club for the reception. Along the way, they took a trip down Memory Lane (literally) and went back to the site of their engagement.

The dads hanging out before the ceremony.

Amanda looking beautiful.

Philip is serving in the army. I love this picture.

The tough guy shows his softer side when he sees his bride walking down the aisle.

There was talk of moving the ceremony indoors because of the looming clouds, but the storm literally went around us!

The happy couple

First dance mixed with kung fu fighting. These two are pretty funny!

Thank you for letting us take part of your day. Have a great honeymoon in Europe!

Nikki and Tim

The Cushman family has been dear friends of mine for a very long time, and when Nikki got engaged...I was on that like gangbusters. What an awesome, awesome opportunity to capture some real moments of family, love, and Christian fellowship. I started shooting at one of my favorite old school restaurants...Mary's Place. By the way...this wedding us up in Dunbar, Wisconsin if you were wondering. So anyway, we started the day off with food (which is always good), and we ended it with food...a perfect day in my book. There was a lot going on in the middle so have a look.

Super Cute Kids on a Sunny Day

Sydney and Riley were hanging out in the yard with two of their friends today and Mark grabbed some cute pictures. Here are some of the best we have taken of our dear Riley Jean:

Joe

I love this one of Sydney. Dad was holding her up to the light.

Crazy Hair. Love it!

Riley getting bear-hugged by her big sis.

Sweet.

ps: Here is a super sweet collage that Kelly made up for grandma and nanna.

I'm Back!!!

I am back in the sailing community! We are fortunate this summer to be a partner with a sailboat that is more suitable for our family...it's bigger. If you'll remember my last boat was 21' and we almost lost our lives several times on "Ariba". Anyway, here is a funny video from our first trip out. The video is a little slow, but the ending is pretty funny...since it features me! Enjoy.

Katie and Mike

Mark and I had a fantastic time at this weekend's wedding. We were in the coolest little town of Cedarburg with the sweetest couple. Everything for the wedding was in walking distance from each other: the salon, bed and breakfast, church, and cultural center (a local art gallery where the reception was held.) Katie and Mike did such a great job planning a wedding full of amazing details that was just a great time for everyone.

Katie getting makeup done at Bella Lei Salon in Cedarburg. I had fun hanging out with the girls while Mark was making rounds at all the locations.

Katie looking gorgeous.

Mike is a police officer. I think this picture shows off his tough side.

I love this series from the walk from the church to the reception. Can you believe the forecast called for heavy rain all day!!

Sweet first dance.

Without further ado here is the link to the slideshow. Thank you so much for sharing your day with us.

This is Mark here...thought I might add my two cents:
