Kristie and Alex

2009 is turning out to be the best wedding season yet. We have been having a great time. Kristie and Alex were awesome and their wedding was perfect. The day started in Kewaunee which is a beautiful town. The church property was on a hill and overlooked the town and had great views of the Lake. After the ceremony, the trolley took them to the beautiful Oneida Country Club and it was one great party. ~ Kelly

The many sides of Kristie . . .

The best word to describe Kristie is stunning!

Who drinks beer with a straw?

This one is just too funny.

Showing off all the gorgeous folds in the dress.

The flowers

Here is Alex. He was just a super nice guy.

And now for the gorgeous couple . . .

A little sweetness

A lot of hotness

And some cuteness

This was a fun group.

Oneida has these amazing windows. I love the first dance in silhouette.

Ryan and Bridgette

We had a great time hanging with these two in Milwaukee at the Botanical Gardens. What an awesome place to shoot. The rain held off and we were able to cover some serious ground. Ryan even gave me some suggestions for my tennis elbow, which has been bumming me out as of late.

Some headshots. These two both have an amazing smile.

We did a bit of tromping through the woods.

And a bit of arm wrestling . . . The winner shall remain anonymous.

Under the old oak tree. (At least I think it was an oak.)

So why does it always have to be the guy picking up the girl and swinging them around. . .

Love these two darker moodier ones.

Some unique variations of the ole ring shot.

James and Lauren

Well it's weddin' season for sure!!! You know how when you think you know something and then you find out that its totally different and you feel like an idiot. I thought I remembered this couple as mild mannered and quiet...I guess I am getting old. We had such a great day, and so many good shots, I decided to pick some different stuff that I might not normally put up, and leave off some of the norm. Enjoy.

Here is the father of the bride getting strapped into his getup.

Nice Bow!

A little before the ceremony celebration.

This is what happens when you celebrate a little too much.

Little hands, and little flowers.

A teary- eyed James.

Lets just talk during our wedding.

I totally grabbed this with my new favorite lens, and it's one of my favs from the day.

Classic.

Bouche Cake...Sarah rocks!!

Nice.

This is also one of my top favorites of the day. Yes, I did get one with their faces in the frame.

Jed and Lexi

So when we first met Jed and Lexi, we talked about going back to where they got engaged to do their engagement pictures. It was a gorgeous setting and the perfect day. I love that evening light. They got engaged on Cana Island which is near Bailey's Harbor in Door County.

Gorgeous light and a beautiful couple.

Not to mention fun!

Nice view of the Cana Island Lighthouse.

Nice ring!

She's a good balance to his state trooper personality

Isabelle and Kenley

Mark had the opportunity to photograph these two beautiful girls at the end of last week. We have lots of practice in the girl department ourselves and wouldn't trade it for anything. We spend most of our photography time taking pics of grown ups. When we do get a chance to photograph children, it is important to capture the real them. I treasure pictures of my kids just being themselves and laughing and playing.

Snuggling in the chair

Super sweet.

I love that intense look.

Isabelle's dad was swinging her above his head.

And here is baby Kenley . . .

Those eyes are gorgeous.

Having some fun. Who said getting your picture taken should be boring!
