Dan and Jessica

This engagement session was filled with some fantastic moments. Dan and Jessica were up from Chicago this weekend so we met at Jessica's mom's house to do the shoot. Combine a great setting with a fun couple and how can you not get some amazing images!

These two were just two perfect. They were full of expressions like these.

Love this!

We finished up the engagement shoot relaxing in this cool hammock. Hope this shoot didn't stress you guys out too much!

Charlie is growing up!

In a little over a week, Charlie will be 8 months. If you remember, we did her 3 month pictures last fall. It has been really fun to follow her growing up. She was born in the same hospital on the same day as Riley. Anyway, this time we brought Riley (and Sydney) along to the photo shoot. Riley and Charlie had so much fun playing together. It was so cute watching the two of them interact and even fight over the same toys. They like to do a lot of the same stuff. This age has been a lot of fun. They are not walking yet and getting into trouble, but they love to play and laugh and light up when they see mom and dad.

Charlie looking especially sweet.
This expression of excitement is over some beads that she really wanted!
Yum! Yum!
Favorite activity--chewing on everything.

Tim and Nikki

Well, this is Kelly posting today. We have been looking forward to shooting Tim and Nikki's wedding for some time. They are getting married up in Pembine this May. We have known Nikki's family for a long time and if I remember correctly Mark even shot Nikki's senior pictures. Stuff like that kind of makes you feel old. These two are a super sweet couple. These pictures were from Saturday which was such a beautiful day. Maybe someday we will see spring come permanently to Wisconsin.

What is not to love about a great sunset shot.

Feel the love!

Well, enjoy the images. Click on the link below to view the slideshow.

I have to give a shout out to the best dessert in Green Bay--in my opinion anyway. If you like chocolate, head to Cafe Mario and order the chocolate truffle. Really, it is just way too good.

Easter

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We had a relaxed family day and a special time at our church where we had a community Easter dinner. I thought I would post some pictures of the girls in their Easter finery.

Riley is looking slightly tormented. It is tough to be a little sister.

I think there was bribery of candy for this shot. Way too perfect!!

I love her poncho made by Lara. This is my favorite Easter picture of Sydney.

Riley is growing up. She is already starting to get into stuff by rolling everywhere.

Alec and Zach

I was going to make this a two poster, but we did so many fun shots together...it's a one poster. This was a crazy shoot that almost ended in our arrest (not really), but we got some totally sweet images. We started in Coeburn park and ended up at the recycling facility. Hope you enjoy the show. By the way, these two are great friends and classmates and you may recognize Travis from a previous senior session. He came along for the fun of it and to redeem his trip to Kavarna.

Jake and Katie

What a day. These two got married in Amherst, WI...which is not a metropolis. I showed up with a little time in my pocket, so I decided to have breakfast @ Diane's there in town. Home made toast and jam with two big 'ol eggs for two bucks...beat that! Katie has been sick all week, so she showed up nursing a bottle of Pepto, but remarkably held her own all day and night. I had a blast at some of the coolest little nooks and crannies in all of Wisconsin. The reception was in Point, and it was a party. How do you define a party...there was a boot full of beer being passed around all night...party.

Katie and Jake's Wedding

This is Katie's dad. He's shooting film in a Yashica 120/35mm camera...a man after my own heart. He also has a wonderful beef/lamb/poultry farm where they raise some of the best steak and eggs on the planet. The sell wholesale and retail, so check them out! Prairie Hill Farms

This was probably my favorite image from the day...grandma nursin' champagne bottle.

Kari and Matt

It is not everyday you get an opportunity to shoot an engagement shoot in a blizzard. I bet the rest of you were at home relaxing in your pjs. We had a great time. Believe it or not, Kari and Matt actually like winter. I am looking forward to doing their wedding this May. Hopefully by then it will be a little warmer.

Perfectly sums up the day. Matt was on snowblower duty and Kari was shoveling. Not my favorite task. Staying warm and snuggling inside. Love this one.

Enjoy the show. Be sure to check out Kari's engagement "ring." It is in the garage. My kind of "ring." Actually it is super sweet Aprillia motorcycle.

Garrett

Garrett is a senior at our church, and I had the privilege to hang out with him yesterday and snap some photos in the process. We were shooting at one of my new favorite locals (the box car), and on the way back to the truck...I fell face first in the snow. I did manage to keep the camera out of the snow, but my body took the blow...since I'm 30 now, it hurts a lot more. Garrett enjoyed a Mt. Dew and a messy muffin at Kavarna, while I sucked down some Thai Curry soup and Breve`.

Got to get back to my birthday merriment, so enjoy the show!

Happy 30th Birthday

This is Kelly posting today to wish my wonderful husband a happy 30th birthday from myself and our two girls. I can't tell you how much he means to us. He is an awesome father and husband. We are really fortunate to be able to spend so much time together. We were just talking about last night how we have known each other for over half our lives. I thank God for him every day.

To the rest of you out there Happy Valentine's Day. Here are some recent shots of our two gorgeous girls.

Album Details

Over the past few months, I have been designing quite a few albums. One of the things that I love to do is detail pages. All the details you work so hard on are really worthy of remembering and definitely don't go unnoticed. Your flowers may fade, but you will always have some great pictures to remember them by. I thought I would share some fun detail pages that came to mind as I was going through this. Over the next month or so I will keep posting some of my favorite spreads.

Recycling is Rad

I just got some prototypes for our print and product bags that we are going to be implementing in the coming weeks, and they are o so sweet. The bags are all made from plastic bags that would otherwise fill up a garbage dump. Take a look on Bekah's blog to find something cool for your self. RECYCLING IS RAD

And, I got this super cool laptop bag for my birthday!
