The Trip

Let me introduce a good friend of mine...TC Worley. TC is a photog in the twin cities, and every year he lowers himself to come to Wisconsin to hang with his buddy(me). We just got back from our 2nd annual sail boat trip. Three days of fun in the sun on the beautiful Green Bay. This years trip took us to Rileys Bay, and Egg Harbor...quite the trip. I actually felt relaxed for the first time in months. I hope to post some photos or video soon. Good times all around!

I might just get labeled as a senior photog yet! We tried some new cool stuff last night and had a blast doing it. Once again the fabulous Sharon McMahon did a standup job on Laura's hair and makeup, and sydney did a good job of distracting everyone. I hope you enjoy your senior year and these super cool pics.

PUG in Chicago

Kelly and I went to Chicago yesterday to attend a Pictage User Group meeting that had David Jay as a keynote. We took the whole day shopping and getting stuck in traffic, and got to the meeting at 7:00. We left at 11:00pm. Needless to say David was an awesome friend that gave us some key insights on how to make our wedding business run smoother. His main focus is to share with people how to automate and outsource our work so we don't live behind a computer! "A business should work for you...you should not work for your business!" I am all about getting some of my life back; and taking that a step further, giving my life back to God on a daily basis. We also met several other awesome photogs, including Sarah Barlow. Sarah is a fantastic photographer who loves the Lord, and is using her time and talents for his glory! That's what it is all about!

Kelly and I brought Sydney on this shoot...that was a big mistake. She's teething so she was miss cranky all evening. We had a great time in Joan's garden and it was a better backdrop than any studio could offer. You three girls are the best young models that I have ever had the privilege to photograph. Scott and April

Yesterday, we had the honor of shooting the wedding of April Patz and Scott Mohler in Pembine, Wisconsin. It was a beautiful wedding, and we had so much fun. We have known the Patz family for years and had the grooms brother for a high school teacher! Kelly and I are so excited for both of you, and we pray that you will grow together in the love of Jesus Christ.

Happy Birthday Sydney!

Sydney turned one years old yesterday! What an awesome party we had...don't get me wrong, there were some tramatic events...but all in all it was great. We had great food, all the family was there, and the it was actually a below 90 degrees. After Syd got over her initial crankyness (she's teething), and got into the presents and cake, she was loving it. She got a lot of great gifts, but my personal favorite was the grass skirt and coconut shells from Jess in Hawaii. She is growing up fast.

This past weekend we were blessed to have the opportunity to photograph a family wedding here in Green Bay. Kim is Kelly's (my wife) sister. Shooting a family wedding is always a challenge, but we had a blast. This couple loves the Lord and is very excited about serving him however they can.
