Nadia, Jan, and Sophie

What are the holidays about....for me it is chilling out with people you like to chill with. Also, it helps if they make a great cup of tea! I'll let the images tell the rest of the story. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Enjoy the show.

Nate and Sarah

Nate and Sarah are home for the holidays and since Nate is in school for zoology, it seemed appropriate to spend the afternoon with the animals at the NEW Zoo.

The sweet couple keeping each other warm.

Some cool portraits of Nate, Sarah, and yes a chicken!

Fun in the snow

The best part of playing out in the cold is warming up with some hot cocoa and the one you love!

leaving the zoo

Enjoy the slideshow and Merry Christmas!

Sarah and Jeff

I will be doing this couple's intimate wedding at Heritage Hill this January, so I wanted to shoot a few pics just to get to know them a little better.

I love it when the girl makes the tough man into a softie!

A little tidbit: Jeff has played golf in all 50 states! That's even better than my father-in-law, and he plays a lot of golf. I hope you enjoy these images.

Robbie and Danny

This is going to be a little longer than usual blog post as our next wedding is not until New Years Eve. Mark and I had an awesome time shooting in Chicago this weekend, and our first time in the Sears Tower was fantastic. We met Robbie when we shot her brother's wedding last year but this weekend was our first opportunity to get to know Danny. We started out shooting at their beautiful home in the city, then we stopped by Cellular Field where the engagement took place, then it was on to Sears Tower. We had a great time seeing some of Robbie's family again and getting to know many new people as well. Everyone made us feel so welcome. Robbie and Danny are so sweet together.

A kind of artsy dress/shoe shot

Danny was helping his son Xavier get ready. It was sweet to see the special bond between father and son. This little boy loves his Daddy.

I love this one. The perfume was a nice finishing touch to a Robbie's awesome dress.

Father of the groom.

The paparazzi snapping away as Robbie made her grand entrance down the stairs of her home.

Love details like this of the groom

Robbie and Danny were stopping some traffic out in front of the tower.

The ceremony and reception took place on the 66th floor at the Metropolitan Club.

Here was the view from the club.

Father and son

I loved the candlelight ceremony with the view of the city and all the lights. The best part was all the emotion on the part of the bride and especially the groom. These two were so happy to be marrying each other.

Some funny moments

Since there was a small guest list, everyone was able to enjoy dinner together at one long table. It had a nice intimate feel to it.

The Sears Tower at night.

Thanks for letting us be part of your special day. We wish you both the best. Enjoy the slideshow.

So thankful for . . .

This is Kelly posting today. As 2008 comes to a close, I have so much to be thankful for. God has blessed us with a great business, home, friends, and most of all a wonderful family. Happy thanksgiving everyone!

I never imagined how much joy these two little girls could bring. I love to watch the two of them play together. They love each other so much.

Sydney is our little princess . She amazes us everyday with the new things she is learning. She is such a big helper. She loves to help cook and fold laundry. Honestly, she is getting quite good at it. She is also the best big sister. She is always looking out for Riley.

Riley is our little sweetheart. She blows everyone kisses and is learning lots of new words, and she is into everything. My favorite thing she says are "uh oh!" and "good girl." She is truly a good girl!

Lastly, I am so thankful for Mark. He is my partner and my best friend and the world's greatest dad. And, did I mention--a sweet photographer whose work I never get tired of admiring.
