It is hard to believe that we only just met Sydney two short years ago. She is such a blessing in our lives, and she brings us so much joy. What a fun day we had today from morning to night. Sydney awoke to a new kitchen set complete with accessories. She made us "supper" at about 9 a.m. For lunch we went to Happy Joes with Sydney's very good friend Tessa and followed that up with a trip to the wading pool, another of Syd's favorite hangout spots. Sydney got to spend a little time with Lara, Maddy, Stevie, and David--her favorite babysitters. She finished the day by getting to help decorate her own cake which was a big hit. I enjoyed having a fun day spending time with Sydney. We are very much looking forward to next week, but I know it will bring about some big changes for all of us and Syd will have to share a lot of attention with the new baby.
