So as you see above, I am going a little crazy today. I also did the show myself so I had a little fun in arranging the images out of order...I know I am so living life on the edge! We chased this goose around the park for like five minutes trying to get this plastic thing off that was stuck to her bill...to no avail. Littering sucks by the way. We had a great time so enjoy the memories.

Stacy is family and Travis is about to be. We met up at the farm in Ladysmith while I was on my trip with TC this weekend( post coming later). We did some super sweet field shots, and managed a whip cream fight at brunch. Thanks for making the drive you two, and I hope you enjoy the images.

To the caves! Maribel Caves that is. Well there aren't any cave shots, but we did do a little tresspassing on the old mansion property. The light was just awesome over on the private property so we just had to do it! I have to say that Terrance made me laugh more on a shoot than I have in long time...thanks. I really hope you guys enjoy the show...I really like the grass shots a lot.

This was a killer wedding. We shot for over 10hrs, and I think we captured some of the best images of our career. I am saying we because Kelly shot the whole wedding with me, and she had a blast! The whole thing was in door county...all over the place, but we ended up at the Alpine in Egg Harbor. What a great place for a reception. We'll, I am going to let my images tell the rest of the story.

I have never been to Waupaca, but it is pretty cool. The place where we did the shoot was super sweet! It's called the Red Mill, and it's a little wedding chapel/park/giftshop. The crystal river flows through the place, and is stocked full of crawfish...or if your from the south, crawdads. The shots pretty much tell the story of the day...so I hope you two enjoy it.

I always think of Sheboygan as the polka capital of the world, but it is actually a pretty cool (albeit hickish)kind of town. We were on the lake for this engagement shoot. There were fish everywhere! We saw a ton of trout and carp, and I even threw in a carp shot in the show. The lake was calm, and the lighthouse was super cool. After the beach, we went to this great micro brewery and they played a little shuffle board. Hope you guys enjoy the show!

Well, what can I say about these two? Ryan works at my favorite sports shop...Zellers, and Casie works at my favorite restautrant...Cafe Mario's. These are two important people! We had a blast in Fish Creek, and they even took me to their secret hidout in the woods. We also got on this tour bus trolley and grabed a shot while everyone else was off site seeing. Ryan, I hope you don't think your too dorky...I did my best; and I hope you guys enjoy the show.

This was a special wedding to be a part of. This is basically Sydney's extended family. Kevin, Lara, Maddy, David, and Stevie take care of Sydney when Kelly and I are doing weddings, engagement shoots, consultations, or just need a night out. Lara's brother was getting married this weekend and so it was a priviledge to document a great couple and a great family. We appreciate you guys taking such good care of our sweetie princess. Sydney's OwWee

You guys know that old rocking chair in our living room? Well Sydney tripped and landed on the rocker part. I know that it doesn't sound that bad, but the gash on her forehead went all the way to the skull..no lie. The nurse is like "yep...that's the skull". So we've been a little on edge here tonight. Now she has to go five days without touching her stiches...good luck.

p.s. I did a black and white because it seemed less painful.

We had a fantastic time Monday morning with some past wedding clients and friends, Vanessa, Scott , and their daughter Gwen. Vanessa and Scott got married back in September. We hung out for a little while at Bay Beach to do some family photos with the three of them. Sydney had fun hanging out with Gwen too, and she is still talking about the ladybugs ride. I hope all of you had a memorable Memorial Day.

I wanted to use a fun shot from this wedding...cause it was so fun. The bridle party was a fun crew, and the parents were super cool(even though the priest was 20 minutes late!), and the couple was full of surprises as you can see. It kinda sucks having to pick one picture to put on the blog post when they are all so stellar. We headed up to Sister Bay to hang out with Ashley and Chris at their cottage (parent's cottage). What an incredible place to relax, and enjoy the upcoming holiday. We had a blast and I think it shows. This is the spot where Ashley and Chris got engaged. How romantic!!

I got the cover shot...kind of?

I was showed a copy of this earlier today, and I couldn't believe my eyes. I remember being on my boat with TC in Egg Harbor watching this beautiful sunset, and discussing this photographer who was taking pictures of the sunset from the beach. You would think I should have been snapping away too, but sometime you gotta just relax!

I guess I never thought I would see his image of us on the cover of a magazine. I am very thankful for this image, because it will always be a great memory from our trip. This mag is in every building in Door County....oh yea...I'm kinda famous.

Well, we decided it was time for little Sydney to see a real monkey...besides her daddy...so we took her to the Milwaukee Zoo. Instead of me babbling on about it...watch the show.

We scoped out some pretty sweet new locations for this shoot, and we even found this awesome boxcar that had great light. This is going to be a great wedding for me out in Pennsylvania in July, and I'm super stoked to get a real philly cheese steak. Hope you guys have an awesome summer, and enjoy the show.

John and Karlyn

This was not the typical wedding for me. For one thing, it was the first time I have heard Winnie the Pooh read at a wedding ceremony, but it was very fitting and almost made me cry. Karlyn and John are both lit professors at St. Norberts, and I loved the way they both expressed themselves in so many ways throughout their wedding day. The reception was at one of my favorite spots, the Railroad Museum in Green Bay. I didn't shoot any formals at this wedding...woohooo! Now, there is nothing wrong with posed shots; but when your free from having to worry about being at certain place to take a certain shot...the world kind of opens up to limitless possibilities. I hope you two have a great time in Europe, and enjoy the show!

Pictage Partner Conference

Kelly and I had the awesome opportunity to attend the Pictage Partner Conference in Chicago this week. We had a hard time leaving Sid, but we knew she was in good hands...thanks Lara! The best photogs in the world were there handing out knowledge left and right. This was a trip...literally! We drove out to Eau Claire to to catch this sappy couple in action. I got a tour of the UW campus and they were even nice enough to give our dead battery a jump. AJ and Alissa are like family now cause I shot Alissa's sisters wedding and a family photo...it's all about family. Hope you two enjoy this little show.
