Two Cute Cats and a snuggley Bug

Here are our halloween photos from this year. Syd is hanging out with her good buddy Aiden.

Jessica and Adam

How cool is Doty Park...pretty cool indeed. These guys are family so we just chilled and talked about family and hunting and what not. I should say publicly on the blog that Adam missed a 14 pointer at 20yds with his bow yesterday, but still managed a few smiles during the session. Okay, it was not quite 14 points, and it was a little further than 20 yds...but the point is, he still missed. The picture I used here isn't the best compostion ever (the teeter totter in the background), however it is the sweetest shot ever 'cause it's totally blurred and the flash caught the kiss...super sweet.

Molly and Nick

You could never meet a sweeter bride or groom for that matter. This was a shorter wedding for me, but I shifted into fifth! We have never used Coeburn park before, but it was gorgeous today and we even used the baseball field. I really like these images, and I hope you guys do too...enjoy New York.

Keelie

We took a few moments out of our vacation this weekend to make a few images for some old friends. I remember Keelie being about two feet tall...she's a little taller now. We found some great locations which included her backyard. We had a great time on the shoot, and an awesome time on vacation! Enjoy the show.

Katie and Mike

We were going to cancel this shoot because of the weather, but I'm sure glad we didn't! I had a great day in Milwaukee, hanging out at Altera and buying stuff I didn't need. We met up in Grafton/Cedarburg, and toured a winery, walked all over town, ate pizza, road motorcycles, and cruised on my new long board. Quite an exciting shoot.

The Flemings

I don't do too many family sessions...I am kinda afraid there might be a dog! I'm not scared of dogs, just the idea of trying to get a dog to smile. Anyway, we had a blast a Barkhausen yesterday, and here are just a few.

Travis

I have a hard job...I don't know if you knew that. I have to travel to really cool locations, hang out with super cool people, and watch those people enjoy the images I create for them. Travis was especially hard...not really. We just hung out, drove all over town scouting cool locations, and managed not to get hit by oncoming traffic! These are sweet images...enjoy.

Nate and Sarah

It was cold and rainy. They drove all the way from Indianapolis to do this shoot with me in Appleton...in the rain. It was really hard to trust me when I kept telling them that the shoot would be sweet in the rain...it was sweet indeed. I think we were blessed for persevering through the rain. This was an incredible shoot...so enjoy the show.

Terrance and Heidi

This is Kelly making this post for Mark because he is out on an engagement shoot. We met Heidi and Terrance almost exactly a year ago at the wedding of their friends Jessica and Jeff at Heritage Hill. Yesterday, Mark was at Heritage Hill again for another beautiful, emotion-filled day. These two make a great couple. Heidi was a gorgeous bride. I loved the pictures. It was hard to narrow down my favorites. We wish you two the best. Congratulations and thanks for letting us record your memories!

Ashley

I have known that I was going to do Ashley's pictures for a while now, and it was important to me to make them as unique as possible for her. I have really enjoyed working with some off camera lighting on this shoot, and I think it gives a really sweet fashion look to the images. Just so you have an idea about what goes into this process: Ashley was in hair and makeup with the fabulous Sharon McMahon for an hour, the shoot was almost 4 hours long and we did over 1200 images. Enjoy the fruits of OUR labours.

Scott and Angie

This is the year of family weddings. Scott is my second cousin to be married this fall. One more to come. I am so happy for him and Angie. She is the sweetest girl, and I am glad they found each other. They got married at First Presbyterian in Neenah, and it was a cool place to visit because it was where my parents got married 36 years ago. These are some great memories from the day, so I hope you enjoy them.

Ryan and Casie

Ryan and Casie are good friends. Ryan works at Zellers, and Casie waits tables part time at Cafe Mario's...good for me! We had a great day hanging out in rural Wisconsin shooting on the farm and such. The reception was at The Woods here in Green Bay., and it was pretty cool to see my buddies from Zellers breaking loose on the dance floor. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

Matt and Sarah

Wow, what a weekend! I had a double header this weekend, and I came out with some real winners. I also took a pretty bad fall down our overly steep basement stairs on Saturday morning, and I was pretty worried about my being able to do my wedding day aerobics...no problems...a little stiff today...but it's all good. St. Mary's is a big church, and the window light is pretty incredible. It also had fields around the property for some nice party shots. I love hanging out at St. Brendan's, and the Meadows was really nice...good steak! I had a great day, but now I need a nap. Enjoy the show.

Brad and Lisa

I love the chapel at Heritage Hill here in Green Bay. It's an old Moravian church built over 150 years ago, and I guess that's why your not supposed to stand in the pews (oops). We had great weather yesterday, and I got to hang out with some great people all afternoon. Congrats you two, and enjoy the show.

p.s. I love this ring shot.

Our two girls

Every parent thinks their children are beautiful, but most parents probably have some particular things that are especially beautiful to them about their children. When I think about Sydney, I love the way the sun comes through her hair and lights up her crazy curls. I love to see her run. I love those big blue eyes that completely melt my heart. It was hard to imagine I could feel that way about another little girl, but Riley is equally my little princess. I can't stand for her to cry. I love her sleepy grins. She is truly the best snuggler. We set out to capture some of our favorite things in a photo shoot with our two girls, and we even managed a family picture at the end. Not an easy task with a camera on a timer and a newborn and a two year old!

Drew and Keifer

What an incredible afternoon yesterday! I had the opportunity to capture some super sweet senior pictures of identical twins...again. We cruised Green Bay in my totally trashed Saturn, and had fun doing it. These men are pretty laid back, and it wasn't to hard to put their personality on my screen. I think these images are super sweet, and I hope you enjoy them too.

ps: I mixed the buddy shots in with each show! You'll figure it at.

Liz and Bob

I felt really safe yesterday, as I photographed a wedding of doctors. Bob and Liz has had me booked for a long time, and I felt like a good friend at this very special day for them. Everything about the day was super cool...from the guys shirts called a barong, to the great pastries at the reception. I learned a lot about the Filipino culture. The Yorkie in the picture even had his own shirt! Congratulations you two and have a good time in Montreal!

Madison with Seth and Amanda

What an awesome evening! Kelly and I left Syd behind, but took Riley along for her first e-session and trip to Madison. We kinda toured the city, and ended up in this sweet brewery behind the capitol called The Great Dane. We parked in Amanda's secret parking building, and I could have done the whole shoot in there! What a great place to spend an evening, and a great couple to spend it with...enjoy these moments.

Amanda and James

Now that I know where Homestead Meadows is, I not so scared of being late or getting lost. We had another gorgeous day down in Appleton yesterday, and I just love doing weddings in the country. James and Amanda had an awesome ceremony, and a fantastic reception. The dj rocked the house with the biggest sound and lighting setup I have ever seen! Enjoy the show.

Molly and Jared

What do you say about good friends? We have been looking forward to this shoot (and the wedding) all year, because we always have a good time. So when I got home last night at 8:30...I hadn't realized that we had been shooting for 3 hours! We were just having fun, laughing at the NWTC photo class at Pamperin park, and making Jared look really stupid...not really. So, I think the show is pretty good... enjoy.

BTW, Molly's Hair and Makeup was done by the ever lovely Sharon Powell.
