Josh and Mandy
Things have been a little crazy at the Hawkins' house these past few days so this blog post has been a long time coming. I am currently sporting some nice stitches from an encounter with Mark and the vacuum cleaner. We are also getting ready for another up north wedding and then vacation. Long stories-all of them. Josh and Mandy are a really sweet couple who are planning their wedding for next September. Mandy is related to one of our very fun couples from the summer-Amanda and Seth. Mark had fun touring some of the Green Bay back alleys with the two of them.
Some cool lighting
Love this sunset silhouette showing off some Green Bay skyline.
Mandy
My personal favorite
My other favorite
Maybe this one is my favorite-I'm a little indecisive today.

Darren and Jen
This wedding has been a long time coming...they booked me a couple of years ago, and what fabulous way to end so much anticipation. We were up in Iron Mountain, Michigan for the wedding and the Four Seasons Resort for the reception...and several backroad bars in between.
Rockin' Dress Shot.
If you want a sneak peak at the crown jewels...here ya go. Jen is into the bling.
Classic dress.
Somethin' a little different.
Some real moments on the floor.
See ya.
ps - I split my pants. Old Navy isn't what it used to be.

Carrie and Shane
We did this sweet little wedding at Pamperin Park on Friday evening. I decided to post some pretty good moments from the couple of hours I was around.
Love this real moment during the ceremony.
Some funny stuff
I think this shot perfectly portrays the true role of a bridesmaid. Your main job is to carry all the stuff!

Ben and Lindsey
So I wanted to start with the last shot to mix things up a bit, so here we go. Let me first start off by saying that Kewaunee Rocks!!! This was my first shoot in the small town, but I have always wanted to shoot there, and these two took the bait. This place is literally the Disney World of photographic scenery. You get off one ride only to find a better one. I also like the fact that there are no "no trespassing" signs anywhere, that helps keep the kids dad out of the slammer.
So we had a great time, and did not get arrested.
Kell loves the color on this one.
Back on the foot fetish bandwagon.
I am also getting onboard with the blurry stuff as of late. Out of focus is in!
Super sweet ring shot. TOOT TOOT!!!

Andrew and Megan
We had a great time getting to know Megan and Andrew on Monday. They are quite a lot of fun. The two of them are actors, and we got to see some of their excellent acting abilities first hand on the shoot. Their wedding reception is going to be at a theatre in downtown Madison so we are super excited about that.
We started out at Kavarna for some coffee and some chit chat since this was our first official meet although they did crash a wedding we shot one time and got in one of the pictures. (It is not quite as bad as it sounds.)
A little series that shows off their sweet and serious side and their fun side.
Andrew proposed to Megan downtown near the corner of Washington and Doty. They reenacted the scene for us yesterday. See more in the slideshow.
We discovered some new unchartered alleyways in Green Bay.
Hiding out in some ivy.
Mark told Andrew and Megan to put their creative spin on the hill shot out at Voyager Park so they quickly started rolling down the hill toward him. I love Andrew's expression and I think I would have liked to have seen Mark's expression as they were coming toward him.

Lauralyn and Ryan
This is not something you see everyday. We had such a fun time this past Saturday with Lauralyn and Ryan. They are friends of ours from church and so it was fun hanging out with them and a lot of people we know all day. You don't often get to incorporate a day at the amusement park with a wedding day, but there is a story behind it. I believe that Lauralyn and Ryan somehow started their relationship on a Ferris wheel. You would have to get the exact story from them. Then Ryan proposed on the Ferris wheel at Navy Pier. It seemed only right that they should take a ride on their wedding day.
Some cool dress/shoe detail
I love the tie. Lauralyn's dad seems to have the art of tie tying down.
I love the look on Lauralyn's face as she sees Ryan. A lot of times brides are nervous, but she could not wait to walk down that aisle.
Two very unique ring shots from the various adventures of the day.
I didn't realize the Ferris wheel moved so fast until this Saturday. Mark was in the seat above them, and I was on the ground taking pictures.
Sandwich kiss
Some sweet bouquet action
I love Lauralyn's expressions during a game they played at the reception. I would say according to the game these two are pretty compatible.
Notice that Ryan doesn't have too much trouble picking up Lauralyn.
Congratulations to you both. Enjoy your time in Jamaica.
