I love being at a wedding where I know people. I showed up in Milwaukee a little early to run some errands, and get my cards from Sam's Club. My great friend Herb was there to do anything I needed him too...super cool. He drove me around all day...it was awesome...he dropped me off at every stop, and even carried my gear! So, I had an awesome time shooting this outdoor wedding at Grant Park in South East Milwaukee, and the reception was downtown. Take a look.
What am I suppose to say about these shots...uh...their pretty good.
Dad's are great...most of the time...especially when you need money. Gotta call my dad.
We did a shot like this on their e-session...so this is a follow up.
Over the shoulder.
This was their cake...it's an apple pie. Crazy good smellin' pie. Mom made it.
This is Gabe...This is Gabe sleeping...This is Gabe sleeping with lots of people taking and loud music blaring in the background...my kinda kid.

Matt and Alicia
These two actually got Mark to do a morning shoot. Getting Mark out of bed early for anything other than fishing or sailing is truly remarkable. But then again this is a remarkable couple. Matt's sister is one of our former favorite brides so it is going to be fun to do their wedding and see lots of familiar faces. So Mark is at a wedding today in Milwaukee without me so I am doing all the image color and edit and here are some of my favorites.
Starting to see some fall colors. They started the shoot at Communiversity Park.
His and hers
I love this one. Isn't it sweet how they look at each other?
Some a little bit sexy ones.
These next two are just sweet.
I love a blue sky!

April and Steven
Kewaunee Baby! That's the photo paradise. Check these sweet shots from my latest victims, Steven and April. Great couple that likes it frisky...my kinda people.
I got a lotta appendage shots this shoot.
Yea, it's a long walk to the lighthouse.
I am just loving the old schoolness of this.
He actually is a tender young man.
Sweet blue windows
Double trouble.
The streets of Kewaunee are picture perfect representative of small town America.
The leg slide
Check out this awesome show.

Maggie and Chris
Fall was in the air on Saturday even though technically the start of the season was today. I love this time of year. Maggie and Chris could not have asked for a more beautiful day. The wedding was in Fish Creek and the reception at Stone Harbor.
Maggie looked amazing. The flowers were vibrant and beautiful.
Chris looks dashing as well. I must say--he is quite the funny guy.
Mark was impressed by this shot of mine so I thought I would put it up and brag about it a little. He gets most of the blog images but now and then I take a picture that he deems "blog worthy". . .
It looks like your typical unity candle lighting and then . . .
Maggie almost burned the church down! I just love the expressions of both of them.
We spent some fun times in between the ceremony and reception experiencing some of the great spots of Door County including the Bay and a beautiful apple orchard.
You really don't get much cuter than this. The flower girl was so sweet. I must say she did some of the best petal distribution I have ever seen.
There were lots of funny characters at this wedding. Here are a few examples.
And some dancin'! The dj was Sound Dimensions who we have seen at a few weddings now and always does a very professional and nice job.

Peter and Aria
I had no idea that Milwaukee had such a cool secret. Even though it rained for a good part of the day...the colors of the Boerner Gardens were outstanding. It was an early ceremony and a wonderful brunch. I found plenty of my kind of people at this party. Just as a side note, this wedding goes down as the most laid back and relaxed ever...not just the bride and groom, but everyone was super chilled.
You know that over the shoulder/behind my back camera work I do? Sometimes it produces.
This is the story of the day. There was a wedding at a garden in the rain. (We were actually inside.)
Gotta love the fiddle...they even played "Old Joe Clark"!
The ring exchange
Aria made all the arrangements and signed all the place settings.
Ah...no rain.
Too cute to not post front and center.
If you want to know what good cake looks like...look down. Oh yeah, that's cheesecake in there.
